Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Part-time Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office and administrative experience to contribute to a welcoming environment for patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front desk duties, assisting with patient enquiries, and supporting the smooth operation of the practice. Previous office experience and strong organisational skills are highly valued in this position.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently
Answer phone calls, respond to patient enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing paperwork
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming
Support the team with general clerical duties to facilitate daily operations

Qualifications

Proven office or administrative experience is preferred
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude
Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with common office software
