CNC Saw Operator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a competent, hardworking, CNC Saw Operator to join our established team. As a CNC Saw Operator, you will be learning to use a CNC twin blade mitre saw, setting and operating, and learn to output to a high level of workmanship standards. The ideal candidate will need to have great communication skills, the ability to work on own initiative while displaying a team player ethos. Full in-house training will be pro

Skills & Experience Required:

Good Personal Skills and Appearance - Present yourself professionally with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Understanding of Health and Safety - Basic knowledge of safety regulations in a workshop environment.
Effective Communication - Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong Mathematical Ability - Good numeracy skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience with Hand Tools and Measuring Equipment - Competent in using tools and equipment for machining tasks.
Ability to Read Technical Drawings - Understand and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Attention to Detail - Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all work.
Reliability and Punctuality - Consistently dependable and on time for work and tasks.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Industry Experience - Previous experience in the windows and doors industry is advantageous.
Basic CNC Knowledge - Familiarity with CNC machining or manufacturing processes.
Willingness to Learn - Open to developing new skills through in-house training.
Teamwork Skills - Ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues effectively.

Key responsibilities:

Use Hand Tools and Measuring Equipment - Accurately measure and handle components to maintain correct tolerances.
Interpret Technical Drawings - Read and follow engineering drawings to produce precise components.
Maintain Health and Safety Standards - Follow safety guidelines and keep the workshop environment safe.
Inspect Finished Parts - Check components for quality and accuracy before assembly.
Collaborate with Team Members - Work closely with colleagues to achieve production goals.
Maintain Tools and CNC Machinery - Keep machines and tools clean, maintained, and in good working order.
