Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred, but full training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a lively environment while ensuring guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

Taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to customers
Serving food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
Preparing and replenishing bar supplies as needed throughout the shift
Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including clearing tables and washing utensils
Checking identification to verify legal drinking age
Handling cash transactions accurately using the till system
Providing friendly and attentive service to enhance customer satisfaction
Assisting with organising reservations and managing customer flow during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Good time management to ensure timely service during peak hours
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Personable attitude with excellent communication skills
