Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your energy and hands-on skills will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an engaging environment where your physical work and technical know-how will directly contribute to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, mowing, and garden care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision to support construction and site preparation activities
Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Go out on site to assist construction workers with building jobs
Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and setting up work sites
Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to promote a secure workplace for everyone involved

Skills

Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining tools and small machinery
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment such as excavators is preferred
Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their upkeep
Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools effectively
Prior construction experience is advantageous for understanding site workflows
Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
