Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of outdoor and construction-related tasks, including landscape maintenance, gardening, and general site upkeep. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, construction, and maintenance activities within a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will be expected to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilising.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively.
Support construction activities including excavation, site preparation, and material handling.
Use machinery such as excavators under supervision for various site tasks.
Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper functioning of horticultural installations.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in the installation of garden features or construction elements as required.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to minimise risks on-site.
Support team members with general labouring duties to ensure smooth workflow across projects.

Requirements

Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or construction is highly desirable.
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems are advantageous.
Experience operating machinery such as excavators is preferred but not essential; training will be provided if necessary.
Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
Knowledge of horticulture or gardening practices is beneficial.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality work outcomes.
Relevant construction experience or related qualifications will be considered an asset.
A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills related to site maintenance and development.
