Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Commercial Catering & Ventilation Engineer. No previous experience in the commercial catering industry is required, as full training will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical skills and a willingness to learn a specialist trade within the commercial catering and kitchen ventilation sector.

The Role

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will assist with:

Installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial catering equipment
Installation and servicing of kitchen ventilation and extraction systems
Fault finding and basic repairs
Compliance testing and safety inspections
Supporting engineers on customer sites across a range of commercial premises

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills

Practical experience using hand and power tools
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good communication skills

Desirable Experience

Background in electrical work
Understanding of electrical safety and safe isolation procedures
Experience in plumbing, construction, engineering, maintenance or other related trades
GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Full clean UK driving licence
