Full job description

The post holder will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Community services Manager in Mid Powys for 10 hours per week, supporting the effective delivery of patient-focused services. Working independently and as part of a wider team, the post holder will undertake a range of administrative duties including managing correspondence, arranging meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, maintaining accurate records and filing systems, and responding to enquiries from staff, service users and external agencies. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, a high degree of confidentiality, and the ability to prioritise workload effectively while supporting the smooth operation of community services across the county.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to Community Services across Mid Powys, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of services. Duties will include managing correspondence and enquiries, organising meetings and events, preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes, maintaining electronic and paper filing systems, tracking actions and deadlines, processing documentation and data, and supporting managers with administrative tasks. The post holder will communicate effectively with staff, service users and partner organisations, maintain strict confidentiality at all times, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services through efficient and professional administrative support.
