Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated bar and restaurant supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve, not only serving drinks but also assisting with taking food out to customers and maintaining cleanliness in the bar and restaurant area. If you have a passion for the working with the public in a pleasant environment serving our regular and valued customer base , we would love to hear from you.

At least 2 years supervising experience is required and the ability to help motivate and train staff effectively.

Excellent hours of work Wednesday to Sunday on a part time basis

Responsibilities

Serve beverages and food items to customers promptly and courteously.
Prepare and mix drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Engage with customers to enhance their experience through upselling and providing recommendations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is essential
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating hospitality at all times.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
