Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts and food service to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Candidates must be committed to food safety standards and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation and food presentation, ensuring high-quality standards are met
Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly for various dishes
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
Serve food to customers or assist serving staff during busy periods
Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and replenishing supplies as needed
Support team members in all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or similar food service roles is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks within the kitchen setting
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
