We are looking for an experienced SOUS CHEF to join our exceptional team at Weavers in Paisley

SOUS CHEF Salary from 37,000 per annum.
20% Off all Food across our Group.
Includes your fair share of gratuity.

Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a key member of our kitchen, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of excellence while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to specification and presented beautifully for service.
Address any issues that arise during service promptly to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
