Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Burger Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality burgers and related menu items in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a vibrant restaurant setting. The Burger Chef will ensure all dishes meet our standards for quality, presentation, and food safety, contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook burgers according to standard recipes and customer specifications
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Assist in the organisation of the kitchen to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Maintain high standards of presentation, taste, and quality in all dishes served
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
Support meal preparation for other menu items as required
Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner when necessary

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential
Experience with meal preparation, especially in a fast-paced setting, is advantageous
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and ovens, is desirable
Prior experience in serving customers or working in a hospitality environment will be considered an asset
