Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Junior to join our dynamic administrative team. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills will contribute significantly to maintaining an efficient and welcoming workplace environment. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational office skills and gain valuable experience in a professional setting.

Duties

Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry to support daily office operations
Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and clear communication
Support scheduling and calendar management for meetings and appointments
Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace tools, and QuickBooks accounting software where applicable
Organize office supplies and ensure the workspace remains tidy and functional
Enter data accurately into various systems, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and improve workflow efficiency

Qualifications

Previous office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar), and basic data entry skills
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong typing skills for efficient document creation and data entry
Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and customer service interactions
Basic clerical experience that highlights attention to detail and reliability
