Full job description

Primary Function:

To assist the General Manager in the efficient and effective running of the Finance function of Deer Park.

Key Responsibilities:

· To ensure controls are in place to properly record and reconcile all daily revenues and cash takings

· Daily & weekly balancing of all cash accounts and deposit ledger (incl paypal and sage pay for online payments)

· To set up new starts and process leavers on T&A System

· To maintain employment records and ensure all employees’ working hours are properly recorded

· To process payroll and expenses, and forward to Head Office

· To issue and process all holiday forms

· To assist the General Manager in the implementation of adequate stock control procedures and safeguard against loss and/or theft

· Produce weekly profit & loss reports

· To accurately record and report on all membership data for the club

· To process monthly membership Direct Debits and Direct Debit fails

· To process all financial bills for each member and process membership resignations

· To ensure appropriate systems are in place to record all future bookings and reservation

· Assist in the preparation and reporting of all Deer Park financial reports to Senior management

· Be the main point of contact for all financial information for Deer Park

· Process all sales & purchase ledger invoices

· Issue all Purchase Orders

· Process & balance petty cash

· Process of money taken on all owned machines in Deer Park (vending/juke box/pool tables/coffee machine)

· Process quarterly machine games duty returns to HMRC

· Processing of bar purchases and weekly bar stock

· Processing of terminal users and leavers

· Maintain item database – price changes, items sold

· Any other duties required by the Company.

Key Selection Criteria:

· Excellent skills with Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel

· Good book-keeping skills

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Team player and relationship builder

· Detail orientated

· Strong communicator

· Calm under pressure

· Good organisational and strong administrative skills.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
