Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our brand new dynamic culinary team. This pivotal role involves overseeing specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation, culinary expertise, and a commitment to food safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career within a professional restaurant environment, contributing to a vibrant dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in designated sections of the kitchen, maintaining consistency and quality.
Assist in the development and execution of menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to uphold hygiene and safety protocols.
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure ingredients are stored correctly to minimise waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your section, complying with food safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods.
Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with health and safety standards, including allergen management.

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards.
Experience working in a professional kitchen environment with familiarity in various cooking methods.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving skills that support excellent customer service.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £16.00 per hour
