As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a International Shipping Coordinator to organise and provide timely and professional product delivery, ensuring legal compliance, accurate and timely information and documentation into each customer region.

Who We’re Looking For:

You will have excellent communication skills, capable of building effective working relationships.
You must have a good level of attention to detail to ensure work is produced to a high standard and communications and arrangements are accurate.
At times you may need to work to tight deadlines and therefore you should be capable of prioritising your workload and working under pressure.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths at grades C or above, you will have previously worked in an administrative role in a fast paced environment.
You must be fully competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Previous Export Shipping experience is desirable but not essential.
SAP user experience advantageous is desirable but not essential.
Administration or Microsoft based qualifications is desirable but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Prepare, maintain, communicate, and coordinate shipment documentation covering diverse service requirements
Managing the relationships with external companies (UK & abroad) to ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements
Negotiate freight rates and select suppliers based on quality, specialisation and value; managing costs and ensuring that amount is covered in the shipment
Ensure all deliveries are prioritised and dealt with in a timely fashion.Plan collections or deliveries to meet the customer specified delivery date
Own the delivery relationship with customers, ensuring quick and accurate feedback on progress, dealing with any problems in a timely manner
Create cost documents in SAP in order for accounts department to pay suppliers
Influence a broad range of internal contacts to ensure timely provision of information to meet customer needs
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in administrative systems
