Full job description

We are a busy and fast-paced GP Surgery looking for a friendly, reliable part time Receptionist to join our team. The right individual should have an encouraging attitude and possess excellent communication skills.

The post is for approximately 17.5 hours per week candidate should be available to work between Mon - Fri 8.30am to 6pm, Thursday 8.30am to 1pm. Additional hours will also be required.

Key responsibilities include answering telephone calls, dealing with general patient inquires, maintaining accurate patient records using our computer systems, be competent on Microsoft Word, Excel and Email. You must be able to work well under pressure and within a fast-paced environment and have very good communication skills.

Desirable Experience:

Have experience working within an administration environment.

Good knowledge of medical terminology would also be beneficial

Experience dealing with the general public

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.75 per hour

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
