Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Co-ordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your energetic approach will help foster a welcoming environment, streamline administrative processes, and support the delivery of exceptional patient service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while working in a fast-paced, supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Answer patient inquiries via phone and email, providing clear information about the service
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the electronic health record system
Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed promptly
Assist with patient identity verification and collection of necessary documentation
Support administrative tasks such as preparing test kits for patients
Assistance with processing lab reports for patients.

Requirements

Proven experience working in an office environment with excellent organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy office while maintaining attention to detail
Proficiency in using office software and electronic health record systems
Positive attitude, proactive approach, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations professionally
Willingness to work overtime in evenings and weekends when required.
