Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office environment. The successful candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various computer programmes. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your organisational expertise within a dynamic workplace.

Duties

Manage incoming calls and emails with professional etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Schedule appointments and manage calendars
Prepare quotes, invoices, and basic reports
Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documentation as required
Mentain accurate records and filling systems
Liaise with customers, suppliers and contractors
Order office supplies and manage stock levels
Support the wider team with general administrative duties
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

Experience

Previous office experience is essential, demonstrating familiarity with administrative procedures
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Good telephone etiquette and communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues
Demonstrated clerical experience supporting office functions efficientlyThis position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a professional team environment.

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
