Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and demonstrate outstanding communication abilities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation while developing your professional skill set.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Handle customer enquiries efficiently and in a timely manner.
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Sage50
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
Prepare correspondence and reports as required
Handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, completing forms
Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised to promote efficiency

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative background demonstrating organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace applications
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Experience with Sage50 or similar accounting software is desirable
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good typing speed with a focus on accuracy
Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific software tools
