Finance Assistant Vacancy

Angloco Ltd have celebrated over 60 years Fighting fire with innovation since 1965.

Angloco Limited are an established and reputable British company manufacturing firefighting & rescue vehicles with our head office located in Batley. With a broad range of core activities: design and manufacture, distribution, and after-sales service. We are a global operation; supply, service and support. Our vehicles and equipment include those for specialised applications: petro-chemical, industrial, airport, municipal, rescue, and defence.

Vacancy Details

TITLE Finance Assistant

REPORTING TO Transactional Finance Manager

Based at our Head Office in Batley. Full-time on-site role with an early finish on Friday.

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION

Playing a key role in supporting the Finance department assisting with daily financial operations, reporting and analysis. This position ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping, helps manage accounts and contributes to the smooth functioning of the financial processes.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

· Processing of overhead invoicing and purchase orders invoicing

· Reconcile bank statements and accounts and perform routine financial analysis

· Reconciliation of Barclaycard expenditure and costings.

· Assist with audits, internal controls and compliance

· Provide administrative support such as filing, answering inquiries and liaising with clients or vendors.

· Occasional holiday cover for Weekly Payroll

· Any other ad hoc financial tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong numeracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in accounting or finance role
Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.
Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and strong Excel skills.

· Payroll experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

· Experience using Sage would be useful but is not essential.

· Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and suppliers.

· Finance qualifications are not essential; sponsorship may be available.
