Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters / Waitresses to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, providing friendly service and supporting the smooth operation of the establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and upsell where appropriate to enhance guest experience
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and provide correct change or receipts
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout service periods
Adhere to food safety standards and health & safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous
Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial but not essential
Effective time management skills to ensure timely service delivery
Upselling techniques to maximise guest satisfaction and sales potential
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
