Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidates will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring diners enjoy a memorable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to develop their skills within a welcoming setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating effectively with kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Provide attentive guest service, addressing any special requests or dietary requirements
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Clear tables efficiently, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and food safety standards
Assist in setting up the dining area before service and cleaning after closing shifts
Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols and hygiene standards

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Familiarity with serving techniques, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
Strong organisational skills, including time management, are essential to handle busy periods effectively
Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
