Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Bar Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing excellent service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong organisational skills, and enjoy working in a lively environment. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Serve drinks efficiently and courteously to guests at the bar.
Prepare and replenish bar stock, ensuring all beverages are served in accordance with company standards
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glasses and cleaning surfaces regularly
Assist with taking orders and processing payments accurately using the POS system
Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies. Challange 25.
Engage with guests to create a positive experience, addressing any queries or concerns promptly
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Restock supplies as needed to keep the bar fully operational throughout shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management are required
Experience in serving or bartending roles will be beneficial but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills and time management are essential for prioritising tasks during busy periods
A friendly attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are vital for success in this role

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
