Job Summary

Do you have a weekly 9-5 or are a student and looking for a supplementary weekend gig, look no further!

LVLS is a busy bar and events venue in Hackney Wick, East London, and we’re expanding our team. We’re currently looking for weekend only bar tenders, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re a young and ambitious venue with a strong focus on great service, music, and events. As we continue to grow, there are excellent opportunities to move into senior roles and management

Duties

Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in accordance with licensing laws and company policies
Take orders and provide recommendations on beverages and menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Restock supplies and ensure the bar is well-stocked throughout shifts
Uphold food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly manner
Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the wider venue including close down cleaning

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is required but not essential
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to take initiative on task completion in downtimes
Excellent time management to ensure prompt service during busy hours
Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.80 per hour
