Job Description

Pro FS is an independent, family run business which provides Third Party Fulfilment services to
e-commerce retailers in the UK and Europe. We are looking for motivated, hardworking people who can get along with, and support others.

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our Inbound Team in Milton Keynes.

As Warehouse Operative you will be providing daily support to our Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

Unloading and handling inbound deliveries safely, both manually and using mechanical equipment
Checking delivery paperwork and shipment details before receipt
Sorting, inspecting and receiving deliveries using PC-based and handheld systems.
Verifying quantities, SKUs, batch / lot numbers, expiry dates and product condition
Investigating and reporting shortages, damages and delivery discrepancies
Following customs and compliance requirements where applicable, including MRN, commodity and import-related checks
Using WMS / Orderflow to receive stock accurately and update records in real time
Booking in deliveries against ASN, PO and schedule reference
Labelling stock, managing pallet IDs / LPNs, and maintaining stock traceability.
Checking storage requirements and moving stock to the correct location and status
Supporting stock control, inventory accuracy, put away and replenishment activities.
Maintaining goods-in paperwork, records and audit trail
Communicating with clients, suppliers, carriers and internal departments regarding inbound deliveries and related issues
Following health and safety procedures, including safe use of MHE and reporting hazards
Maintaining housekeeping and keeping the goods-in area organised
Supporting general warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

Accuracy and great attention to detail.
Thorough and methodical approach to work.
Good knowledge of English language.
Good knowledge of Maths.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Good level of fitness.
Ability to follow multiple processes.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.

Preferable:

Working knowledge of e-commerce fulfilment and warehouse operations
Previous experience in a similar goods-in role
Experience using WMS systems, ideally Orderflow or similar.
Experience using handheld scanners and PC-based systems.
Experience checking inbound paperwork, quantities and stock discrepancies.
Awareness of batch / lot control, traceability and stock accuracy requirements
Forklift licences such as VNA, PPT and Counterbalance, or willingness to undertake training.
Good written and verbal English communication skills, along with good maths skills

Terms:

Full-time 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 10:00-19:00.
Pay rate £14.50 - £15.60 per hour depending on experience.
Approved overtime paid at 1.5 x hourly rate.
28 days holiday per annum including UK public holidays (increasing after 3 years’ service)
Pension - 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution.
Discretionary bonus scheme.
