Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Bed Upholsterer, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will transform raw materials into beautifully finished beds that bring comfort and style to our customers’ homes. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for upholstering, fabricating, and assembling bed frames with precision and care. Your expertise in handling various tools, fabrics, and materials will help us deliver high-quality products efficiently. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and creativity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and prepare fabrics and padding materials for upholstery projects
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and upholster bed frames according to specifications
Fabricate custom components and make adjustments to ensure perfect fit and finish
Operate sewing machines to attach fabric coverings securely to frames or padding
Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely within the warehouse setting
Conduct quality checks throughout the upholstery process to maintain high standards
Maintain a clean, organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools confidently
Proficiency in sewing techniques relevant to upholstery work
Experience with fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
Warehouse experience is preferred for efficient material handling and storage management
Ability to lift heavy loads safely and consistently throughout shifts
Familiarity with assembly procedures for furniture or similar products
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
