Job Summary

An experienced bookkeeper is required for one day a week to manage the accounts of a focused, ambitious residential block management company based on Wigmore Street in the heart of Central London.

LTPS is a professional residential block management business with a growing portfolio concentrated in London. We are looking for someone experienced who can take ownership of our office accounts with minimal supervision, working closely with our external accountant to keep everything accurate and compliant.

The role

You will manage the day to day accounts for the company, including paying office suppliers, dealing with VAT, staying on top of statutory requirements and liaising directly with our accountant on all financial matters. You will also be responsible for chasing late payment of management fees and arrears from clients, so confidence having those conversations matters.

What you will be doing

Processing and paying invoices from office suppliers in a timely manner. Managing VAT and dealing with HMRC on behalf of the company. Keeping on top of statutory filing and reporting requirements. Liaising directly with our external accountant on ongoing financial matters. Chasing outstanding management fees and arrears from clients and following these through to resolution. Maintaining the company accounts accurately on Xero.

What we are looking for

Solid experience running the accounts for a small business, ideally including VAT and statutory requirements. Confident, up to date working knowledge of Xero, this is essential. Comfortable liaising directly with an external accountant and taking ownership of the accounts with limited oversight. Confidence chasing late payments professionally and following through to resolution. Excellent attention to detail and a reliable, organised approach to a varied workload.
