Full job description

At Allergy Therapeutics our mission is to transform lives by breaking new ground in immunology treatment. As global pioneers of convenient treatment for allergy and immune-related disorders, we are entering an exciting new chapter in our history with the launch of a new, innovative product in one of our European markets, bringing new growth and opportunities for us as business and for our people.

We are currently recruiting for a number of fixed term Packaging Technicians for our peak season. These are 6 month fixed term contract roles starting in July.

The salary on this role is £26,230 per annum, pro-rated for the period of the contract.

Our benefits include:

Free onsite parking, location very close to East Worthing railway station
Monday to Friday working
25 days holiday (per annum), plus bank holidays

Who we are looking for

We would be keen to hear from candidates who have experience in a Packaging environment. An eye for detail is really important as you will be inspecting products before they are packaged for our patients.

You will be comfortable working in a team and have a proactive approach to your work, with a real customer focus.

The working hours are 37.5 per week with paid overtime available during busy periods.

The role

Working to daily inspection, labelling and packaging schedules
Performing line clearances at the beginning and end of a task
Confirming all products and packaging delivered to the line are checked for correct batch number and product
Reconciling stock received, stock output and any rejects
Performing manual and semi-automated inspection of vials and syringes
Performing manual and semi-automated labelling of vials and syringes
Performing manual packaging
Ensuring all inspection, labelling and packaging activities are carried out in a GMP compliant manner
Completing all necessary documentation to GMP standards
Assisting with stock checks and stock control
Ensuring all ILP materials are scrapped in line with procedures
Preparing and collecting work for the ILP team to pack

The interview process

Successful candidates will be invited to an interview onsite, this will involve a tour of the facility and a visual check assessment.

Please note that if you are successful in securing a position with us, you’ll need to provide an optician’s certificate confirming that you have 20/20 vision, with or without glasses. The cost will be re-imbursed when you join us.
