Full job description

Introduction

Nationwide Pathology Limited is a UKAS accredited private pathology laboratory located in Lubenham, Market Harborough.

We pride ourselves on providing an extensive and diverse range of pathology testing with same-day turnaround and excellent customer service.

We are looking for a part-time Administrator to work 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Key responsibilities

- Assume receptionist duties; greet visitors, refer them to appropriate team members.

- Answer telephones, route calls, deal with queries and take messages.

- Book phlebotomy and vaccination appointments for patients using bespoke system.

- Carry out requisite e-mail correspondence ensuring that client queries are dealt with promptly and effectively.

- Undertake daily data input.

What we are looking for

- Politeness and an excellent telephone manner are essential.

- You must have a can-do attitude.

- You must possess strong IT/numeracy/literacy skills.

- You must be enthusiastic and motivated.

- You must be a team player.

- You must be reliable.

Own transport is required.

Full training will be provided, but administration experience is required.

There is also the opportunity to train in phlebotomy and undertake visits to draw patient samples, both on and off-site.
