About BMP Doors

BMP Doors is a growing company with a strong focus on providing quality products and excellent customer service. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and organised Office Administrator to join our team and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business.

This is a varied and responsible position, working closely with the sales team, factory and customers to ensure orders are processed accurately, deliveries are coordinated effectively and customers receive a high level of service.

The successful candidate will be an important part of the team and will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of BMP Doors.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and checking order acknowledgements to ensure all details are correct.
Placing customer orders with the factory and ensuring specifications, quantities, colours, sizes and pricing are accurate.
Carefully checking order specifications and pricing before orders are confirmed.
Liaising with the factory regarding orders and resolving any queries or discrepancies.
Monitoring orders throughout the production process and keeping the sales team updated on progress.
Coordinating customer deliveries and ensuring agreed delivery dates are met.
Following up on outstanding orders and deliveries to ensure everything runs to schedule.
Arranging customer invoicing and ensuring invoices are raised correctly and on time.
Checking factory invoices against orders to ensure they have been received correctly and accurately.
Obtaining and preparing quotations for spare parts.
Providing administrative support to the sales team and assisting with customer enquiries.
Welcoming and greeting visitors to the BMP Doors Experience Centre, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact.
Assisting customers and contractors who visit the premises to collect materials, ensuring collections are dealt with efficiently and courteously.
Communicating with customers, suppliers, the factory and internal teams in a professional and helpful manner.
Supporting the wider team with general office and administrative duties as required.
Helping to identify ways of improving office processes and efficiency.
Working as part of the team to support the continued growth and development of BMP Doors.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Numerate and confident checking specifications, pricing and invoices.
Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
Keen to learn, develop and take responsibility within the role.
Committed to providing excellent customer service.

Experience

Previous experience working in an office administration or similar role is preferred, although it is not essential.

Experience within the door, construction, manufacturing or building products industry would be advantageous but is not required.

We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to learn who will become a valued member of the BMP Doors team.
