We're looking for a passionate and reliable Baker to join our bakery team. If you enjoy working with quality ingredients, thrive in a fast-paced production environment, and take pride in producing exceptional baked goods, this could be the perfect opportunity to join a growing brand.

About the Role

As a Baker, you'll be responsible for producing our handcrafted bagels, doughnuts, cakes and bakery products to the highest standards. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll ensure consistency, food safety and efficiency while helping us deliver exceptional products every day.

This Baker role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on production, works well under pressure, and takes pride in attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality bagels, doughnuts, cakes and fillings to Steamhouse standards.
Follow recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across all products.
Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
Maintain the highest food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Ensure products are stored, labelled and handled correctly.
Support bakery cleaning, equipment maintenance and compliance procedures.
Assist with menu innovation and new product development.
Support wider bakery and store operations when required.
Work collaboratively to ensure products are delivered on time and to the highest quality.

What We're Looking For

Previous bakery or food production experience is desirable.
Passion for producing high-quality baked goods.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Reliable, organised and a great team player.
Flexibility to support different areas of the business when required.

(Please note: This role requires flexibility over 7 days, including weekends where required.)

A successful Baker at The Steamhouse consistently produces high-quality products, works efficiently to meet production targets, maintains excellent hygiene and food safety standards, supports the wider team, and contributes positively to our culture of delivering exceptional products every day.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
