Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance service quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanics are advantageous but not essential.
A valid driver's licence is required; additional qualifications for specific vehicle types may be beneficial.
