Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Part-Time Maintenance Person to join our team! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of our facilities through hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your skills while supporting the overall operation of our organization.

Must be willing to undertake our safer recruitment process and an enhanched DBS will be required prior to commencement of employment.

Report directly to SMT.

Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings.
Troubleshoot and liaise with qualified trades person where necessary.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and safety documentation.
Assist in supervising maintenance activities when required, with contractors.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance operations.
Respond to emergencies.

Skills

General maintenance.
Must have own vehicle.
Own tools required.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
