Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering a memorable experience, possess strong organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills while engaging with a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to company standards.
Take orders accurately from customers and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or barista station.
Serve food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including counters, tables, and seating areas.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system.
Provide friendly assistance to customers, answer queries about menu items, and promote specials or new products.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in setting up the dining area before service hours and clearing after closing.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation.

Skills

Previous experience as a barista or waitress is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Organised with strong multitasking abilities in a busy environment.
Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required.
A positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
