Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations within a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a memorable guest experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant’s functioning, fostering a positive team atmosphere, and upholding the highest standards of service and quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to deliver outstanding customer service.
Manage food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, presentation, and quality control.
Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality.
Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations to optimise team productivity.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
Handle customer feedback promptly and professionally to resolve any issues or complaints.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation across all areas of the restaurant.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality standards for ingredients and equipment.

Requirements

Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel management is desirable.
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including serving practices and customer service excellence.
Familiarity with barista experience or bar management is advantageous.
Ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene at all times.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent communication skills.
