Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Estimator and become a vital part of our project planning and execution process! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and supporting our project teams to ensure successful delivery. Your expertise will help us optimize resources, control costs, and deliver exceptional results for our clients. This position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and attention to detail will drive project success from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop precise cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather pricing information and market data
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs
Conduct cost control assessments throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budgets are maintained
Review subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness
Assist in value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Maintain organized records of all estimates, revisions, and supporting documentation for transparency and future reference

Qualifications

Proven experience in estimating within construction, manufacturing, or related industries
Strong understanding of cost control principles and budgeting techniques
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Effective communication skills to clearly present estimates and collaborate with team members
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts accurately
