Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food preparation and safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure exceptional service, and uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and adherence to food safety regulations.
Assist with food production tasks when necessary, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Train new team members on service procedures, health & safety protocols, and company policies.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
Organise shift schedules and delegate tasks effectively to optimise team performance.
Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and professional development.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Extensive restaurant experience including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety management.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes is highly desirable.
Previous experience in hotel or barista roles will be considered advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly yet professional demeanour.

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
