Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner
Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Provide clerical support to various departments as needed
Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document preparation and communication
Handle basic accounting tasks using QuickBooks when required

Requirements

Previous office experience is essential, with a background in administrative roles being highly desirable
Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication
Familiarity with data entry processes and clerical duties
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
Knowledge of QuickBooks is an advantage but not mandatory
