Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will support the development and learning of young children in their formative years, creating a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and growth. Your energy and enthusiasm will help inspire children to reach their full potential, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Duties

Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism, ensuring they feel included and supported throughout the day.
Help create a safe, welcoming classroom environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
Provide one-on-one tutoring or mentoring to children who require additional support with literacy, numeracy, or social skills.
Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents to inform personalized learning plans.
Foster positive communication with children through active listening, encouragement, and clear instructions.
Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with special educational needs.

Qualifications

Prior experience working with young children in educational or caregiving settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of special education practices and experience supporting children with disabilities or autism is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, teachers, and support staff.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and tutor children to enhance their learning experiences.
Passion for early childhood development and creating inclusive learning environments.
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification are preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to fostering positive developmental outcomes for all children.
