Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly individual to join our team as a Barista/Waitress. In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a vibrant environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are at the forefront.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
Take customer orders accurately, ensuring clear communication and prompt service.
Assist in food preparation, including assembling light snacks or meals as needed, following food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including counters, equipment, and dining spaces.
Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills, providing correct change and receipts.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any concerns promptly.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve all customers efficiently without sacrificing quality or friendliness.

Skills

Proven experience as a Barista or Waitress in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently.
Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that enhances guest experience.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
Effective communication skills for taking orders and interacting positively with customers and team members.
