Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and professional GDC registered Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our mainly private mixed dental practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and have a passion for patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of clinical and administrative tasks, from greeting patients and answering phones to assisting with dental procedures and maintaining patient records. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. You will have days dedicated to nursing or reception.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments
Effectively communicate treatment plans and costs to patients
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality and accuracy
Assist Dentist and clinical team
Sterilize and maintain dental equipment/instruments
Follow practice protocols and procedures for infection control and safety
Provide exceptional patient care and communication
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Dental Nurse Qualification
GDC registration
At least 1 year private practice experience
SOE experience

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
