Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation while working within a vibrant team dedicated to providing a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of food preparation.
Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout shifts.
Manage multiple tasks effectively by prioritising orders and ensuring timely service during busy periods.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of food items and cleaning protocols.

Requirements

Knowledge of food safety standards is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
A positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service are vital for success in this role.
